Job Description
The major goal of the Assistant Site Manager post is to serve diverse duties in supporting and preserving the historic site. With the varied duties of this role, the Assistant Site Manager must have strong verbal and written communication skills, outstanding organizational abilities, and the capacity to establish new programs and special events. The individual in this role must be able to create and maintain excellent work relationships, like working outside and with the public, and be able to handle many projects at the same time while engaging with employees, suppliers, and the community.

Qualifications:
- Assists with proactive tracking of staff licenses and certifications (including CPR certificates), as well as monitoring the Expiring to ensure active licenses and certifications are acquired before existing licenses/certifications expire.
- Assure that all internal corporate processes and policies, such as Technical Services, Human Resources, Accounting, Information Technology, and general customer service, are followed.
- Perform an assessment of the performance of those workers who report to him or her based on the criteria of performance stated in the job description, and then discuss the evaluation with the employee who is being evaluated.
- Interviewing and recruiting, training, coaching, motivating, assessing, establishing and altering work hours, resolving team member complaints and grievances, punishing team members, planning and directing team members’ work, and so on are all part of direct reporting staff management and development.
- Assists in the creation of employee schedules, the tracking of hours worked by the whole staff, including overtime hours, and the monitoring of Schedule E hours. Early clock-ins or late clock-outs that result in unlawful overtime are monitored and reported to the Site Manager.
- Visitor sign-in and facility operating protocols include evacuation, lockout, and other safety measures.
- Ensures that all daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation items are handled in accordance with policy and procedure guide. Establishes business ties and aids in the negotiation of non-company suppliers on price, inventory, service, and return rights.
- Be able to communicate and connect effectively with a wide range of individuals, especially those with differing personalities and temperaments.
- Maintain an accurate and comprehensive inventory of the company’s goods, supplies, equipment, and tools that are under his/her control and essential for the effective performance of his/her job responsibilities.”
- There are a number of reports that must be submitted on time and accurately, including timekeeping, injury management, attendance, and a change of status request.
Skills:
- Must help site executives in directing a complex aircraft production program.
- It is required that you have a working knowledge of computers and technology (for example, Outlook, Excel, and Word), as well as the ability to wear personal protection equipment and work in locations with high temperature swings (for example, temperatures ranging from -40 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees Fahrenheit).
- As a result, a high-performance team may be developed via effective leadership, which includes customer focus, open communication, and willingness to educate and provide criticism.
- A bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical subject is required. In place of a bachelor’s degree, a relevant associate degree and two (2) years of more experience or four (4) years of additional experience may be substituted. A minimum of 5 years of CH/MH-53E experience is required.
