Job Description
This job will be in charge of providing high-quality dental treatment to dental members, as well as organizing dental care from both internal and external specialists. Assist dental members in improving their oral health and lowering their risk of developing future dental illness by serving as a resource. As a team member, play a leadership role in dental care delivery.

Qualifications:
- Contribute to a team-oriented and collegiate environment by working with other clinical and non-clinical staff members as needed.
- Examines people’s mouths to determine what kind of restoration is required, as well as whether dental and prosthetic equipment is required.
- Examine, diagnose, prescribe, and deliver (or direct others to deliver) oral health care services in the best interests of the patient.
- Taking advantage of opportunities for continuous education and training to improve your clinical knowledge and abilities.
- Auxiliary and clerical personnel are well trained and instructed in their duties. Provides feedback to clinic management on the performance of auxiliary and clerical personnel as needed.
- Examines people’s teeth and associated oral tissues utilizing x-rays, mouth mirrors, and other diagnostic processes and technology to determine abnormal or irregular conditions.
- At the federal, state, municipal, and dental clinic levels, follow all applicable dental rules, regulations, protocols, and procedures, including those governing personnel, workplace safety, public health, and confidentiality.
- Makes necessary suggestions for operations that cannot be performed at the facility.
- All patient-dentist contacts should be documented as they happen in the patient’s dental record so that the record accurately reflects the nature of the encounter, the patient’s condition, and the care or treatment provided. Make the necessary written recommendations and obtain written permission if necessary.
- The dentist must be able to treat oral and gum infections using the best medications or procedures for each patient.
Skills:
- Acquire and maintain a high level of clinical dentistry knowledge, with a focus on topics that are useful in a dental clinic, such as pediatric dentistry, emergency dental care, extractions, and dental care prevention.
- The applicant should have a strong sense of leadership and a persistent drive to learn and improve his abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association).
- Current, valid dental license in the state where services are supplied (in good standing) or eligibility for licensure in the state where services are delivered.
