Job Description

The Client Service Lead creates, enters, and maintains internal and/or external customer orders (through phone, fax, or e-channels). Front-line questions and service concerns are handled by: To complete the resolution process, responds to all internal and/or external customer queries (e.g., order status, product information, stock availability, company policies, price quotes, requests for documentation, etc.). This reduces the need for the customer to call back multiple times for the same issue.

  • Document and handle customer claims accurately in the proper systems/spreadsheets.
  • With courtesy, promptness, and professionalism, handle incoming and outbound calls.
  • Use your knowledge and training to accurately respond to customers’ problems while following all scripts, policies, and procedures.
  • Follow the guidelines for handling confidential and personal data.
  • Customer complaints should be escalated to the relevant internal or external partners.
  • Keep up to date on changes to programme knowledge, systems, and procedures by attending meetings and trainings and reading all new training material.
  • Ensure first-contact resolution by processing emails properly and fixing problems.
  • Extend and augment a knowledge base that already exists.
  • It’s important to process refunds or deliver replacements.
  • Keep a detailed log of your attendance and work schedule.


  • It is necessary to have 2+ years of expertise in a retail or ecommerce-related discipline or area.
  • It is preferable to have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or a closely connected field.
  • Must be a self-starter who can manage their own time, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • The Microsoft Office Suite and tools should be accessible.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are required, as well as exceptional attention to detail.
