Job Description
The firefighter is accountable for the safety and security of the buildings and structures that they are assigned to defend. As a visible deterrent to crime and client rule violations, our Firefighters identify and report suspicious, unsafe, or illegal behaviors at or near their assigned positions that may pose a harm to the property, clients, visitors, or workers on the premises.

Qualifications:

- firefighters must be prepared to fill out a substantial amount of documentation. Pre-occupation planning, inspection reports, alarm event reports, and a size-up are all included.
- In the case of an explosion or the discharge of hazardous chemicals such as gas, have a reaction plan ready. Building dikes or storing hazardous materials in a manner that keeps them from discharging may help safeguard surface drainage systems from harm.
- Prioritize daily maintenance of the vehicle you’ve been assigned as your primary task. Maintaining proper fluid levels is only one of a mechanic’s numerous duties. You may choose to not refuel and clean the vehicle but we strongly urge that you do so.

Skills:
- Maintaining current active status on all required licenses is a condition of continued employment, and the employee must have the license with him or her at all times while at work.
- At every level of the company, as well as with customers and workers, efficient communication is a need.
- Every year, the employee must complete 240 hours of CPR and first aid training.
- Be able to work well with others, to respect authorities, and to treat the public with decency and courtesy
- An NFPA 1582 physical test must be passed before an applicant may be considered qualified for this position. It is necessary to be physically capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving objects with a maximum force of one hundred lbs. on an irregular and/or frequent basis.
