Full-Time INDUSTRIAL FIREFIGHTER – Ad-Dākhilīyah
Job Description
An emergency response firefighter responds to calls within their authority for fire suppression, hazardous materials response/rescue operations, crowd and traffic management at disaster scenes, and medical support at the First Responder level if needed. The students in this class follow a set of processes, but they are free to make their own decisions about what and when to do.

Qualifications:
- Exercising control over all sorts of firefighting and rescue equipment, including portable fire extinguishers, power tools, hand tools, and associated equipment, such as smoke ejectors, force entry tools, pike poles, and axes.
- Checking fluid levels by gauge or manually, operating pumps, confirming that all critical equipment is on board, as well as making sure radios are working properly are just some of the daily tasks. Refuel and clean the car if necessary.
- In the event of a leak of gasoline or hazardous material or bomb threat, respond. Avoid contaminating surface drainage systems by building dikes or storing hazardous material in a way that prevents their discharge.
- As a valuable member of the team, interact constructively with colleagues and make a significant contribution to the achievement of regional and corporate goals.
- When arriving on a site, a firefighter must be able to compile and record numerous records such as pre-plans of occupancy, inspection reports, incident reports of alarms, and sizing up information.

- Aside from assisting with customer service and putting up smoke detectors, firemen often visit community events and schools to teach people of all ages about the importance of fire and life safety.
- Maintaining emergency equipment, conducting fire and life safety inspections on both residential and commercial sites, and responding to emergency calls in a safe and fast way are just some of the jobs that firefighters must undertake.
- All parts of fire suppression, including rescue and entry, are incorporated in this function. Occupants are saved and ventilated as well as salvaged, and the building is kept safe.
- Clean and maintain the fire station both inside and out, including mopping floors, washing windows, sweeping and dusting, maintaining storage, plowing walkways, and cleaning the kitchen and toilets.
Skills:
- Must be able to pass a physical in line with NFPA 1582. To lift, carry, push, pull, or move things, you must be able to exert up to 100 pounds of force sometimes and/or often.
- Maintaining current active status on all required licenses is a requirement of continued employment, and the employee must carry the license with him or her at all times throughout the work day.
- Additionally, certifications in CPR and first aid are essential, as is the ability to complete 240 hours of training each year in addition to carrying out the obligations of the position.
- You must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing at all levels of an organization.
- Possessing the capacity to collaborate with others, to identify and respect lines of authority, and to maintain cordial interactions with members of the public are all desirable characteristics.
