Qualifications:
- As a key player on deal teams, you’ll be responsible for identifying viable investment opportunities, carrying out due diligence, and producing investment memoranda for fund investments and co-investments.
- Establish and manage client files, as well as generate and prepare reports and databases for file and record keeping, to fulfill regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Create and close accounts; add power of attorney and trading authority as applicable, link life insurance and annuity accounts, complete client registrations and proactively address and follow-through on client service requests.
- Responsible for making sure that all customer needs are met promptly and accurately; provide front desk support, including greeting clients and guests; politely answer phone calls; and, if necessary, take thorough messages.
- As directed by the firm’s advisor, create and manage client files, compile client forms and reports, and initiate correspondence.
- Keep records on past and present customers up-to-date in your contact database and contact management software for use in future reports, appointments, fee tracking, and promotional efforts.
- Manage the upkeep of all shared office equipment to ensure its appropriate functioning for the practice, and communicate any problems to the facilities manager. Keep the office well stocked with basics like paper towels and coffee so that employees never go without.
- Client records and other outdated or unnecessary documents should be routinely shredded to ensure their safe disposal.
- Review and respond to all electronic correspondence; promptly address issues and concerns with professionalism and attention to resolution.
- Traders utilize this method to handle the purchase and sale of equities and fixed-income securities.
Skills:
- A baccalaureate degree is desirable, but candidates with relevant job experience and/or college credits earned will also be considered.
- Experience with Redtail, Orion, Morningstar, MoneyGuidePro, and Wells Fargo Advisors is preferable.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently under time pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- demonstrated competence in client management or customer service. This would entail discovering difficulties or problems with clients, offering solutions, and starting those solutions.
- Experience in finance or a similar discipline, such as billing, accounting, purchasing, mathematics, etc., is required.
