Liaison between the State Medical Examiner’s Office and the county medical examiner offices; liaison between families of deceased and the public; and other relevant duties as assigned by the State Medical Examiner’s Office.

Qualifications:
- Disputes routine questions and grievances, conducts investigations into problems and suggests remedies, and refers complaints or difficulties to the appropriate departmental officials.
- to electronically transmit, in a prescribed format and on time, all death investigation reports into a computerized web-based records management system in a clear, accurate and unbiased manner
- The dead person’s medical, psychological, and/or mental history is found by talking to the dead person’s doctor, getting the dead person’s health care and dental records, looking into reports from outside agencies, and helping forensic pathologists find the dead person.
- Medical information is shared with law police, lawyers, judges, prosecutors, and the general public.
- Incumbent gathers case documents, including reports, diagrams, charts, and pictures, to record the reason and manner of death. The incumbent attends to death scenes on a rotating basis and handles situations received late at night. The incumbent testifies in US District and Federal Courts, as well as Circuit Courts in surrounding states. Work assigned by the Chief or Deputy Chief Medical Examiner. Controls and monitors infection.
- A person’s medical history, medication use, and mental condition at the time of death, as well as weapons and other evidence, are gathered at the scene of a crime or death by investigators. They also capture photographs and videos of the area and interview friends, relatives, and anybody else who may have seen the incident.
- Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and abilities by attendance at continuing education seminars, training programs, and other applicable courses.
- There will be no omissions when it comes to the documentation of the probe. Police reports and medical data are requested by the investigator when necessary.

This individual gives lectures, presentations, and forensic pathology symposiums and conferences.
Skills:
- To be qualified, you must have an associate’s degree in biology, medical science, para-medicine, or a closely related field, as well as 1,000 hours of documented work experience. Expertise in the subject area is a must.
- having a solid knowledge of the medical examination and identification process, it is necessary to have a grasp of how trauma impacts a person’s health as well as a comprehension of the causes and consequences of natural illnesses.
