Part-Time Painter/Drywall Finisher – Al Wakrah
Job Description
Under the supervision of a supervisor, the Drywall Finisher cleans and maintains a safe and aesthetically pleasant environment. Performs preventative maintenance, equipment repairs, and services on a variety of building systems independently. Participates in the entire building management program in order to deliver high-quality, cost-effective service with a strong focus on customer happiness.

Qualifications:
- Following established safety norms and requirements to maintain a safe and clean environment. At all times, personal protective equipment (PPE) should be worn (PPE).
- Apply texturizing chemicals or primers to walls or ceilings using trowels, brushes, rollers, or a texture hopper before final finishing. Add metal molding to the corners of the space to hold wallboard and metal structural components.
- Work as part of a team to manufacture items that meet our quality requirements and meet our productivity goals.
- To deliver high-quality, timely, and cost-effective maintenance, communicates and collaborates with the supervisor, the client, and other trades and subcontractors.
- Maintaining open lines of contact with your supervisor and reporting any job-related issues; ensuring that all equipment and supplies are used safely and efficiently.
- Finishes interior surfaces thoroughly to enhance and protect them, including painting (with rollers, brushes, and spray applications), restoring vinyl wallpaper, staining wood, and applying other finishing materials. Finishes walls and surfaces using hand and power tools, as well as repairs and replaces wood and metal doors that have been damaged, and carries out Finisher-related responsibilities
- Serving as a responsible steward of our company’s physical assets, preventing damage and misuse, reporting any necessary repairs, and keeping your assigned workspace clean and organized are all examples of stewardship.
- Respect the attendance requirements of the division and arrive on time for your shift.
- Spread sealing compound between boards or panels, as well as over cracks, holes, nail heads, and screw heads, with trowels, broad knives, or spatulas.
- Assistance with planning and organization: Assist your Team Leader and Area Coordinator in the planning and organization of your area’s production activities by communicating projected material shortages and identifying necessary tool maintenance, as well as communicating any quality or productivity difficulties.
Skills:
- Must be able to walk, climb, and lift 50 pounds, as well as perform other physical tasks as required.
- The applicant must possess a strong sense of leadership as well as a strong desire to learn and enhance his skills.
- Interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities are all essential.
- High school courses in carpentry, shop, mechanical drawing, and basic algebra are all strongly recommended.
