Qualifications:
- General Office Administration– Handle a variety of office related day to day tasks necessary to ensure smooth operations of the Support Office, including but not limited to phone duties, filing & organization, and general cleanup, etc.
- Maintain office records, employee files, and answer routine queries regarding corporate policies to aid in the administration and office support duties.
- Timely and accurate responses to customer contacts and investigation and resolution of customer complaints.
- Collaborating – Working cooperatively with others to help a team or work group achieve its goals.
- Keep records and files up-to-date and easily accessible.
- Use office equipment including photocopiers, printers, and computers for tasks like word processing and spreadsheet generation.
- Carry out clerical and administrative tasks as directed and in accordance with established protocols.
- Paper clips, stationary, and other office supplies should be tracked, and any shortages should be reported.
- Data entry, payroll, invoicing, credits, inventory, billing, and production reporting are just a few of the accounting duties you’ll be working on over the financial quarter.
- Documents should be printed, scanned, and updated in accordance with standard office procedures. Documents pertaining to the facility’s operation should be created and filed.
Skills:
- Good verbal and written communication skills are an asset in many settings, including those with customers, truck drivers, office workers, and management.
- A typist who is both proficient in stenography and adept at taking dictation.
- have previous experience in an administrative capacity, such as that of a secretary.
- Competence in basic bookkeeping and office procedures is a plus.
- The aptitude to learn and understand the carpet padding and trucking industry.
