An experienced Music Producer is needed to join our expanding team. The person in this post will be responsible for coming up with ideas for and actually making all of the station’s branded audio elements, messages, and images. The Music Producer’s responsibilities include contributing to the development of daily program, music logs, and timetables. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leveraging sound to strengthen brand or customer relationships.

Qualifications:
- Creative direction/production management for events as required.
- The role of music producer is a highly collaborative one, requiring them to work with both small and large groups to achieve their goals.
- This individual must also be able to present concepts and design and at all times adhere to prescribed standards.
- Create and manage timetables, budgets, and estimations for project deliverables, keeping track of costs and progress in order to stay under the agreed spending limit.
- Organizing the band to ensure that all performances go off without a hitch.
- With music publishers, labels, and other parties as necessary, arrange and negotiate all license and synch rights.
- On budget, collaborate with the line producer, supervising producer, and music acts.
- Meeting with and attending events hosted by managers, publicists, and record companies is a great way to build ties with these individuals.
- Gather sound for the presentation from various sources, such as TV broadcasts, live events, concerts, interviews, sound bites, etc.
- On a regular basis, you will be expected to contribute to the assessment of potential opportunities and the creation of innovative audio designs and implementations.
Skills:
- ability to suggest genuinely novel strategies for creating musical content for air and online.
- More than eight years’ experience in the music industry; preferably booking/producing for a variety program (late night, midday, morning, or similar).
- ability to prioritize tasks and accomplish multiple goals simultaneously.
- Capacity and willingness to participate in and collaborate with other teams on the program, as well as to hire non-music guests including celebrities, public figures, and athletes.
- Knowledge of management principles and skills in encouraging and inspiring teamwork.
