Qualifications:
- As needed, perform a number of jobs at the branch or department, such as bank deposits/cash recovery, opening/closing the office and vault, report writing, and any other job responsibilities that assist the department run smoothly.
- As required, purchase and sell money from the vault to maintain the amount of money in the teller drawers under control.
- Maintain a broad understanding of branch operations to verify that all rules and procedures are followed.
- Giving advise on how to improve a client’s financial situation or putting them in touch with the proper people
- By asking the right questions and listening to the answers, you may gain a better understanding of the customer’s objectives.
- Before continuing, carefully examine the endorsement, get valid identification, and ensure that the check is genuine.
- Properly identifying customers, safeguarding confidential customer information, balancing at the end of each day, and creating daily reports.
- Selling consumer banking products and services to consumers directly helps to support the Bank’s broader sales efforts.
- In order to meet with clients on a frequent basis, you must maintain a professional appearance and a well-organized workstation.
- Handle all traditional financial transactions given by customers in person, at a drive-up window, at a night depository, by mail, or by digital means.
Skills:
- Ability to utilize computers and technology to carry out the obligations outlined.
- The banker will be taught how to use teller machines, calculators, keyboards, encoders, image capture/scanners, Oscar (ATM cards), SEI Trust System, Streamline, and Vertex equipment and software.
- Required: a college diploma or 12 to 18 months of customer interaction and sales experience, with banking experience preferable.
- Among the most crucial aspects of this role are customer service, accuracy, speed, precision, and flexibility, in addition to a pleasant, professional demeanor and the ability to do a wide range of tasks.
